Christine first learned of Women’s Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada through the baby bottle campaign at her church, Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain. She learned of their need for a Board Treasurer through the husband of a fellow board member and joined the Board in Summer 2010.
Christine obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Kent State University. She spent the early years of her career in both public and private accounting. Upon moving to Las Vegas in 2001, Christine worked as an Audit Manger of a public accounting firm that specialized in providing audit and consulting services to nonprofit organizations. Christine is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada, a nonprofit, multi-specialty pediatric clinic.
Christine came to know the Lord in Kindergarten at her Christian school. She loved babies and always knew she wanted children. She worked in her church nurseries from her teen years into adulthood. She married her husband, Jason and became an instant mother to his two-year old daughter. However, Christine experienced infertility for several years before being blessed with a daughter and subsequently twin sons through fertility procedures.
“I feel blessed to use my professional skills to support an organization that saves the lives of precious babies.” “ Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” Psalm 127:3.
