I moved to Las Vegas from California in 2005. I met my husband Michael, and we married in 2010. Together we have four wonderful adult children and four beautiful grandchildren with another on the way.
My employment background has been at the Department of Veteran Affairs and as Office Manager in the Construction Industry for two companies. I became involved with the WRMCSN through the partnership of my church, Southern Hills Baptist. It was there that I got involved in serving in local missions to volunteer with our church group. I signed up for WRMCSN Personal Advocate Training and learned the HEART of the work and mission. When an employment position became available, I applied and now get to serve in a higher capacity.
My life experience with overcoming challenges has led me to who and where I am today. I believe God has placed within me a special grace to minister to those who are hurting, who find themselves in dark places and in need of hope that can only be found from an encounter with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. I have the heart to see those in bondage be released into a life with Christ who offers liberty and freedom to all who are held captive.
The Good News of Salvation
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
